Kiko Flores(guitars), the band’s think tank, together with Ezy Sefuentes (VOCALS) joined by Jc Asuncion, Mark Lim, Jojo Duenas and Levy Arago, defines AboutRadio sound as good old 90s OPM pop alternative radio.
The band started in 2009 when guitarist/songwriter Kiko Flores met Kjwan frontman Marc Abaya and Joel Ellorin who at that time was a Producer for Pilipinas Got More Talent, Fueled by a mutual interest in making OPM music, Kiko wrote songs and tapped former Orphanlily bassist Eryk Alpay who both at the time works in ABSCBN. They met, Ezy Sefuentes, at that time, a communications student in PUP, “Kiko and me just clicked, we speak the same language, and I feel comfortable singing everything he writes.” Ezy says.
Kiko and Ezy began recording original material and collaborated with artists’ like Terence Teves(Orphanlily, Soapdish, Brisom), Jeff Lima(POT, MYMP, Kitchie Nadal), Berns Cuevas(Banda ni Kleggy) and some artists.
